IVC Pianist
Daniël Kramer is known as a many-sided and impassioned pianist.
He took up his main studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Håkon Austbø, also taking regular lessons with Claude Helffer in Paris. In 2000 he was awarded his performance diploma, with distinction.
In 2007 he was honoured with a special mention in the prestigious Concours Olivier Messiaen in Paris. In 2008, the jury of the Seghizzi competition in Italy awarded him the prize for the best piano accompanist.
Daniël has participated in masterclasses given by eminent pianists, including Pierre-Laurent Aimard, György Sándor and Murray Perahia. As a soloist he performed with the Radio Chamber, The Hague Philharmonic and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestras, in chamber music with as Nobuko Imai, Charles Neidich and Janine Jansen.
