JOLANTA KUKUŁA-KOPCZYŃSKA – a violist,professor of musical arts. She graduated from the Academy of Music in Łódź, from the class of Prof. Z. Frieman. At the moment she runs her viola class at the Alma Mater. She combines her teaching career with concert activity as a soloist and chamber musician.She has perfected her skills under the direction of Prof. Uzi Wiesel (Tel-Aviv Quartet) and members of the Amadeus Quartet. She collaborates with “Studio”,a string sextet from Łódź (concerts given in Holland, Germany, Austria – many times in Mozarteum in Salzburg, Spain – in Auditorio Nacional and Circulo de Bellas Artes in Madrid, as well as at Poznań Musical Spring and Warsaw Autumn Festival). The ensemble has made recordings for the Polish Radio, Österreichische Rundfunk and the Dutch Television.
Jolanta Kukuła- Kopczyńska specializes in playing contemporary viola music and is often a dedicatee of pieces for viola solo and viola ensembles.
