Program Notes:

This recital provides a taste of Norwegian viola music. A lot of music written for viola by Norwegian composers is extremely rarely played outside of Norway.
At the opposite side of the globe, contemporary composers in New Zealand have provided inspiration for Alexa Thomson's project "The Alternative Viola".
